Mid-Autumn Fest

The Mid-Autumn Festival(Also known as Lantern Festival) is here once again. Its the 15th of August in the Chinese Lunar calender. On this day, everyone celebrates with beautiful Lanterns, Moon cakes and will also go out to the open to watch the Full Moon.Β  On this day, the moon is known to be the roundest and Nicest. However today, its very cloudy and we can only see the moon in a cloud of light.

Papa had chosen Clark Quay over the other locations. So Moe and I went early to Clark Quay waiting for the sun to set and prepare for our 1st Mid-Autumn Festival together.

We were standing at the river side with the Banner Lantern behind us across the river for our 1st shot of the day.

After then, Moe and I head for the entrance of Clark Quay. We were welcome by a very nice and colorful entrance. By then, the lights were already turned on.

As we wanted to lite up our lantern we waited by the little pool for it to get darker. Papa bought Lantern for Moe and I.

Finally what we have been waiting for… The Sparkles YAY!!!

A day ago, Moe and I met up with the rest and went to Pinnacel @ Duxton. We were at the 50th level sky garden.
Lighting wasn’t really good and apart from it, it was drizzling. Papa felt bad not being able to cover all the dolls there apart from the group pics. Hope everyone likes it.

I see that you are wearing special shoes again. Father tells me that you hurt you foot last time and was concerned that the trainer/sneakers that i have like you cause the damage. Hope they didn’t hurt.

The colors of the advent is so so nice and the lanterns are cute.

Father would like to go to SG, but is taking me to Japan, so that I can go clothes shopping as well as find a new New sister.

    • Yu Chann says:

      Hihi Sae-chan,
Nice to see you here. Hope you like Yu Chann and Moe Chann’s adventure to Clark Quay on Mid-Autumn Fest. Yeah, Papa made new Clogs for me again. The last time, it wasn’t the trainer/sneaker that cause the damage to my toes. Papa cut my toes to enable me to wear “Y” slippers but over time, the cut tear open. So Papa replace My Foot~ lol “sounds so wrong”

Hope you have a nice trip in Japan. Grab more clothes and its so nice to have a new sister.

      Cheers ❀
      Yu Chann~
